We used to usually have the place to ourselves , once or twice a week , EVERY week and a fiver for the pleasure of it

I went down to Deeside last week Chris, a complete contrast to that Sunday night when you ride there. Scores of bloody scooters like ants all over the place.

Well it's great for those kids , who are enjoying their own scene

One day they'll be like us looking back and truly appreciate their awesome times meeting friends and stuntin'

On the other hand , to us ,,,,they're a foookin inconvenience

There's some decent indoor skateparks about, I enjoyed Northbridge at Doncaster but it's an hour+ for me to get there, and the one in Halifax about the same. The Works is quite near but too expensive to pay for me and both boys.
We'd best get digging in out local woods

I've pretty easy access to some great parks all indoor too

Leyland indoor , Arc in Prston , Ramp city Blackpool , Rampworx Liverpool ,, not forgetting Clitheroe concrete outdoor all between 20 mins to an 1hr away

so no probs for mental places to ride .

It's just that place was soooo right

Mahooosive bowl , nice street section , vert wall ,,a good few hips and jumpboxs thrown in

and best of all only seemed to be 5 or 6 riders some nights and about 20 when busy on the odd evening .

Unfortunately , this why it closed though

Great times It was good enough for me to make a 4 hour round trip every sunday, not quite sure what it was about it but not found an indoor park I have liked as much as interact.

Fook....remember going up in 3 vans to collect the left over ply at £5 a sheet, that bowl was awesome built by a riding mates old work college, remember crashing in that bowl and galley laughing his tits off, 10 minutes later he did the same thing. Brought the ply down to bucks to build a 7ft mini ramp, only for the fooker to burn down 2 years later.
