Twin Pinch Redline Cranks?
« on: January 22, 2013, 10:35 PM »

Why did these sell for this?   ???

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130834082183'ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Is it because they put old school on them ?

Because:

a) if you buy each of the components from different vendors it will cost you this much to buy unless you shop around.

b) people are lazy and won't shop around (see answer a)

Note: It is cheaper to buy the whole package from the States (inc postage) than it is to buy in component form in the UK!

If I just put a search in ebay I can get the cranks and BB for £108 new. Wierd!

I was only looking cos I'm putting some up for sale and wondered how much they cost. I got mine from the US a bit back and got stung for customs so didn't really save much.

Bought a brand new set off Ebay last month for £71 posted from the USA. Like Nick says, you need to shop around for these.
