£100 - just get a secondhand pair of profiles with axle (for around the £60/70 mark), and get yourself a new mid BB set for £20. Bob's yer uncle

I only say (and I'm not dissing anyone's choice!) as I had a mate crack them cranks, but he's a street rider and does do fookin huge gaps/drops. So na-na-ne-na-na

Not saying that, just he swore by Profiles (as I have), tried the WTP cranks and they broke. He never broke any Profiles, just ground them up. Only giving advice based on my own experience. Hence the 'I'm not dissing anyone's choice' comment.

I've tried other cranks, and tbh Powerbites/Hollowbites come a close second if it wasn't for the pedal threads stripping out.

Yep

bit of copper slip or or decent grease on the pedal spindle threads & also on the spindle where the crank arms go to stop the dreaded creaking Primo's are known for

If the pedal inserts wind out thread lock the feckers in!
