Is it possible to have the "flat" removed from a kerbed Rim???  as in "Head on not side on bump"   Cheers

it is depending on how bad.... i had a set of rims i gave away that were passed around  :D  not to sure who got the bump out of them but they are perfect now ... get a pic up im sure someone can advise you more  :daumenhoch:

Them rims you gave away ended up with me ...... i had to pay for them though and take the dent out    ::) :D

I just used a block of wood and a Mallet and then sanded it back ..... in all fairness it wasn't to big of a bulge .  If its quite bad , speak to Steve (animal) on here as he has a tool for sorting this out  ;)   He has done some pro class for me that i thought were beyond repair .... when they came back they were spot on   8)
WANTED : Old school BMX patches/sew on badges ......  please  :)

Have a look in the tech & resto section - there is a sticky about Steve Animal's jig for sorting this kind of thing out.

I had in a few years ago and it works a treat but it only removes localised flats or dents, not a completely "egg" shape which you will need a professional wheel dolly for I'm pretty sure.
