Looks like a candy top coat applied directly to the chrome just like Jamroll's CW build.

Because the seller is in Darlo' I'm guessing it could be candy powder done by FHM Reader who used to be active on here and on Burnerworld.   :daumenhoch:

WOW,

Really Bizarre that i've come across this thread, as i was coming on to ask If a frame be powder coated in candy blue if it's been shot balsted ? Or does it have to go straight on to chrome ?????? As I'm considering this finish on one of my builds also so if anyone knows the answer (DAN) please let me know !

Cheers!!!

If it's been blasted, you'll probably need a silver basecoat but it won't look as good as candy on chrome.   :daumenhoch:

if the frames been blasted or it's not mint chrome than the other option is chrome silver base coat then candy blue over the

silver, 99.9% of all my candy paint jobs are over silver base coat :daumenhoch:

The frame was candy over nickel, his forks were candy over chrome.
He showed the bike at bb12 and had little ride out on it at the Leeds ride last October .
The guys name is Anth, nice bloke. 8)
