Snow bike
« on: January 18, 2013, 05:05 PM »
Couldn't find the last thread, so here we go again..

Just getting dark now, so only had a quick go down our gentle sloping road, early signs look good, gonna break a limb in the morning!!!

the bungy is to keep the front `skid' up if I get air!!!

I've put ribs on the bottoms of the decks to aid striaghty liney ness, which the last one didn't have. I'm hoping the front suspension forks absorb some of the bumps on the tufty hill near us!!

are yours weighted betty
after 2 years of trial and error the tucks are built offset
when you pick the bike the skis tip up afront n rear for when you manual or jump
or they dig in and over you go.
spent 3 hours out the other day never fell of once,my mate built some like yours and nearly broke his face.

They're not weighted Danny, just tightened up tight so they won't flap about, still at prototype stage  :daumenhoch:

Snows disappearing rapidly ere so i've not had chance to try it  :(

I'd love to have a go on one of these!  They look awesome!

So I take it, some people are running them solid with no movement and others running bushes and free to pivot?
