Getting real close to finalising the details on this. It will be on the evening of the 29th March 2013 and will most likely be from T13 to a place to be confirmed in Dublin. In all its over 100 miles with pit stops along the way and for Clic Sargent - Children with Cancer. Some of the clubs either side of the border are getting involved and we are hoping to raise some good cash for the kids, and raise awareness of BMX in Ireland. Just a heads up and asking if anyones interested in participating in either riding, or supporting at whatever level.
Lee.

Adam, your support will be massively appreciated and a few beers in Dublin the day after would be ace. After the ride you might even be able to outdrink me.
Yeah Rob, we did Ally Pally to Brighton last year which ended up being around 85 miles after including the miles to actually get to the start line. We wanted to push the boundaries a bit more this year as we like to earn our sponsorship monies.
Its a massive task but if we can make a difference to a child who is fighting cancer, then a few hours of pain is well worth it.
Team shot before the ride. Monkian actually did it with us but he turned up fashionably late so isn't in this picture.
Me and Beard at around 04:30am

I had a good time chuckling at Beard all the way up. His bike nearly went basejumping without a parachute.

I enjoyed the freefall into Brighton a few miles later... though that stretch from the top of Ditchling Beacon before the decent into Brighton was really tough, the wind was a killer.
I have my medal, rider number and a copy of the group photo... all ready to be framed for my office at home.
Great Night Out

Think London to Brighton was plenty far enough for me on a BMX, but much respect for organising this
The ditching beacon was a fooker, but for me the worst bit was the sneaky hill that popped up right before the very end in the town - just at the moment my morning dump finally decided it was ready to appear
I might have a go at the land's end - John o groats next year but will be on a bike with gears (don't have enough holiday to do it on a BMX
)
