I had a top day yesterday. It started a bit crap when I got on the train at Wrexham, and not realising the 6 Nations started yesterday when I bought my ticket, was squashed into the carriage corridor with a load if stinking egg chasing tossers, not easy when holding on to a childs bicycle. >:(

But anyway I changed trains at Shrewsbury, and the last part of my journey was much more civilised. :)

I got to the cab rank at New Street bang on 10.30, and was first to arrive, closely followed by Craig and Grant, then a stream of riders for the next half hour or so. 8)

So off to the Chinese Quarter for a few drinks and we pick up Mani, Scotty B and Wazza on the way. ;)

Then we asked the guy at The Kerryman Pub if we could take our bikes inside, to which he agreed, but I don't think he was expecting nearly 30 of us. :-[

So then off to The Custard Factory to show out faces at Rob's retro shop, we descended on him last year and he loves seeing the lads with the old bikes. 8)

Food time now, so round the corner to the Crown. Bit of sh!tter this as I had to wait for over an hour for my burger and chips, and considering that I was one of the first to order was a bit crap. :( I even asked for no salad, so surely that should make it quicker not slower. ???
So I've asked the staff 3 times where my food is, and the guy running the place asks me what I ordered, and who with then asks me again what I want, then still fooks the order up, the thick Cnut!! :wtf:
He takes me to one side later and claims he's sent out 3 extra burgers today and claims that the others had been eaten by people that hasn't ordered or paid.....bit naughty that IMO.

Moving on now to the Spotty Dog, shit boozer but a great beer garden that can house 20 or so riders, with the same amount of bikes.

Then it's time for a few lads to peel off, so a small group of us head down by the canal, and Me and Stu become subject of laughter as we've ordered coffee and cake, bloody nice it was too, and as we were by the canal - when in Brum, do as the Dutch do. :idiot2:

So a good day again lads, cheers to Wazza for organising. :4_17_5:

Great to see some old faces, and meet some new. :coolsmiley:

See you all in Chester. :daumenhoch:
