Yes i think you are right. Ive got a 95 US Ride mag were they talk to Ron about 2 Hip and the new bikes but Im not sure when they went into production. I will check my mags and see when they started showing up in stores.

The frame set I got off Ed came with San Fransico newspaper as packaging which was dated mid 96 so maybe they were produced in 96.....to then be released in 97?

Actually - I've been racking me brain about this - there may have been *some* Big Boys out in late '95 - I seem to remember seeing Leigh Ramsdell and Kranich on one late '95 - could be though with Ron having frame manufacturer difficulties in late '95 through to mid '96 that they didn't hit the streets until late '96 state-side and '97 here. Ron changed frame makers early summer '96, so the delays might have pushed them to late '96......

Sorry I meant on the forks.  They also gave you the option of having a clamp on stem or the old wedge type stem. Depending on what forks you chose.
