Without doubt a stunning bike but +1 to running spokes if only from an aesthetic point of view  :smitten:

Don't listen to Diggler he'll only come round to your house  and show you his appreciation of joining his Tuff hating cult  >:D

if it was up to him all the bikes on here would be spinning Nigga discs    :idiot2:

glad you mentioned you was going to have it all re-finished in a colour chris....    ??? ???

its begging for a nice colour like a metallic/pearl red or blue,  make sure you dont have it done in a candy colour (non metallic quality street toffee wrapper colour)  they were never like that back in the day and wont be keeping true to its original finish... ;)
R.I.P  O.M. Far short of the finish line...

Sam these are the restored reds on the JMC site

may look a little brighter because of the US sunshine but doesn't look clear see through , but is Candy apple .

I remember Candy red bikes back then were deep ,,,but not translucent

Jon Western "The " JMC collector ,,,,,with the most comprehensive collection in the world ,,,has Tuffs on his JMC

If he says it right ,,,, :daumenhoch:

But I'm still going to have a nice set of spokes aswell  later in the year :smitten:

:4_17_5: top banana as said its nice in that sort of seal gray but with chrome forks and the frame painted it will be mega, probably the only frame and forks i'd buy now really is a jmc dy or ap and you've got a hybrid of both  :smitten:, really nice that and i like the tuffs on it (sorry diggler) , when you post a bike up you know its going to be a good un and you haven't disappointed, you are my no.1 guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=L0ag9Sll6RI  :LolLolLolLol:

UNBELIEVABLE  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Christian, that, my friend is Fookin STUNNING, I love it.

It looks great with Graphites but would look equally cool with spokes. I'm going for 7Xs laced to Sheriff Stars on my AP when I get some AP bars.
I too think that Candy Red frame with chrome forks and bars would be the finest combination too. I always look forward to your builds, they are always thoroughly well researched, top quality and the end result is jaw dropping every time. This , however has to be my favourite. I love the black Bullseye cranks on it too, they stand out superbly and as has already been said, a nice different touch with the tyres. I'd keep the Hutch pedals on it as in my opinion, the plastic peds would cheapen the overall look which cannot happen on a bike of this calibre.

Once again Christian, AWESOME WORK Christian.  :daumenhoch:

Adam

PS: I have a JMC AP frameset in flawless chrome but for what I have in mind I am going to strip the chrome and re powder it white. If it would help you out and your forks are stucturley sound I am more than happy to do a straight trade on the forks and I'll get yours powdered instead. :daumenhoch:

Humdinger Christian as are all your builds mate  :4_17_5: :4_17_5: :4_17_5:   If you're changing colours then the candy red would be spot on as they look well nice in that colour.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Thanks both Andys  :D

Like I said I got some of the bits before the frame  just because I've always  liked em , seat and cranks ( thanks to Ian ) and  they seem to go together well .on this

Almost a little  like your " I built a bike from spare parts I had " thread , Andy  :D

Fatal having a few spare bits ,you end up building something to use em on  :crazy2:  :LolLolLolLol:
