Sharing the resto history on this 1985 Vector Mark II

The score

While stripping the frame I mentioned a weird weld on the downtube

The weld resto on downtube after some attention

Frame and forks ready to be sandblasted

Decals ordered from Usa

Primer painting when I visited the painter

I wanted a red one ! Yes !

Result after the assembly with some nos/mint parts.

Crank: Redline Full Wrap 180 mm Flight cranks
Chainring: 44T Sugino
Chaindisc: Tuf Neck
Pedals: KKT Lightning
Chain: Izumi black/silver
Rearbrake: Dia Compe Mx 1000
Brakelever: Dia Compe MX Tech III red
Brake cable: Terrycable
Brakeblocks: Skyway pro/finns
Rims: Araya 7x rims with Sunshine hubs
