Decal question
« on: December 14, 2012, 07:14 PM »
I've started my last build  ..
The 80 Scott Clark with euro bb ..  :smitten:

I've got some original 80's Robinson decals i've had for a while ...  ^"^

The frame and forks are staying og finish ..

Do I use the nos decals or save them  ??? I can't decide  :-\

If you are leaving frame survivor for time being I would use some repop decals if available.  If not gets yours scanned and reprinted.

Yep,id go for the repop option too in all fairness. Plus the fact, if the repops are identical, who's gonna know.....apart from you? :daumenhoch:

Repop's all the way  :daumenhoch:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

good call Sam ... I nearly put them on the cruiser .. But in that case they should go on the 81  :daumenhoch:

It will be a shame just to keep them in the bag , but wrong to use them ..
Nothing should be too precious to use ?

Unless you have a complete survivor how many bikes have og decals ...  ???

If it 's nice survivor , and you aren't ever going to re do it , I'd use the NOS set Carl

So it's still 100% genuine factory finish

By using them,,, you still keep  the stickers , they just move to a Frameset , where they should be   :coolsmiley:

LOL at Joff,,,true mate  I've never seen that room ,,,with err ,,so much room  either  :LolLolLolLol:

Good choice ! They'll look better on the bike than stuck in a drawer/on a shelf.  :daumenhoch:
