FLIGHT CRANK ISSUES
« on: December 14, 2012, 05:35 PM »
Ok so im doing my first build,

Well first 2 actually,

I have 2 new matching 175 twin pinch redline flight cranks with Euro BB's on the builds, the first is getting a sugino cross 1pc chain ring & the other bike has a tioga spider & sugino chain ring, I'm wondering if iim missing a part for each as the chainrings do not run parallel to the frames & veer outwards where they are attached to the crank arm.

Like i said first builds n all that so any advice would be amazing thanks !

top hat washer is the wrong way around , wide bit sits against the BB, thin bit pointing to the arm, you will probably have to file down the thin bit to be less than the thickness of the spider.

hope this makes sense

That's the problem I had at mk12 ! Bolt on the arm had worked loose & when I came out of the gate the chain came off & spat me over the bars :idiot2:
Still got the scars now ;D
