Got my son one of the new ones when they came out about 7yrs ago and its in the loft only been ridden a couple of times he really didn't like it

I nearly had Nick but it unfortunately isn't.    Thought it was a Scrambler/Stringray, got it last month for the budget build off, decided against it now as it aint a Schwinn.

Had a chance of picking one up in L.A for under $100, wish I bloody grabbed it now........

Any ideas what year it was Nick ?  they are very cool bits of kit.

Nick was the fella who did kick turns on a GJS late 70s that went on to become quite well known for tricks on a BMX


I'm kickin me self as my mums neighbour has a removal firm
In late 70s he moved an American family to my area who gave him a bike as a thank you /tip
This bike has sat in his storage since then , he recently asked me if I wanted it as he knew I was into BMX
I wasn't really feeling the BMX vibe at that time but went for a peek just to keep him chill & told him it wasn't what I ride & left it there
Well now I'm feeling the vibe again I asked him if he still had it but sadly he dumped it
This is the hard part it was a Stingray with BMX modifications
I know I must hang my head in shame for not taking it

Nick, I'm still waiting for Ash to identify it!!    I scraped some of the paint off the headtube to reveal the original decal, found it was the same as this but cant find any other info so still no wiser.......60's??  It's all stripped down ready for the next stage.  



Anyway, you plumb, ya should have had that Schwinn!!!!!
