Inspired by Ed's recent brush with his 2 hip/riot wannabe build I managed to get hold of a NOS big boy from Jai @shiners (thanks mate)

I've done this on a budget and with the generosity of fellow rad members (discostu & oldskoolflava) I've managed to get this done sub £500 which I think is great seeing that all this will get used for is the London rides and the occasional local wobble.

I must say its been a right b4stard to put together, the forks are 1" but as you see it has a clamp on stem which is near impossible to fit, I had to use a hydraulic press at work its that tight!!!

Anyway, just cables and a possible tyre swap and my pub rider will be done, thanks again to all that helped make it happen!

Did you not try putting the stem bolts in from the other side with a coin in the slot to open it up a bit before you put it in the press?

its nearly there ... just needs a drill, a bashguard and some WAL decals

No mate, I got frustrated and introduced it the the press!!
