New boy - Bristol
« on: November 30, 2012, 10:15 PM »
Hi Guys,

Resisted long enough.....so half way through a '82 ripper build.

Slowly sourcing the parts....so hopefully soon will be completed.

Back in the day had rippers, ta, hutch, quad, curtis amongst overs.....so def reliving my youth.

Peace.

Welcome to the site, another Bristolian here.

I grew up in Mangotsfield and Staple Hill and was a regular at St George park when I wasn't over at the track in Patchway.  So I would imagine we crossed paths many times.

Hi Stidds,

I lived in Yate as a kid, but most evenings after school rode to St Georges, but also spent a fair bit of time at patchway track.

Fond memories from st georges days.....guy called paul with a ripper that was held together with insulation tape (but still jumping the camels)....smilley....and j davis....with his prestine haro master......happy days.

Peace brother

Spent many a good day in Yate as a kid, not too bad a ride from Mangotsfield.
