sorry no pics but he's the versions

1st gen-shafted redneck
2nd gen-1in clamp on
3rd gen- 1&1/8th clamp on gyro unfriendly
4th gen gyro friendly

(gyro friendly means the bottom as curved cutout to clear the gyro top plate)

all those are sharp edged

then its

5th gen round edged 1&1/8th
6th gen redneck lt
7th gen redneck xlt
8th gen lil redneck

some of the early 1&1/8ths also came with gyro tabs

There's also another one with a slight difference inbetween the 2nd gen and 3rd gen Kev - 1 1/8" but slightly 'stubbier' (same reach but with a shorter clamp area) - here's a piccy of one over at the Museum (on the far left):

"Listen. I don't care what you say. Chlamydia is a soup." (Phelps, L. 2000)

There is also a difference in the fork clamp bolts.
The earlier ones bolted through from the same side. (like the red ano/black painted one below)
Then they were changed so the 2 clamp bolts came in from opposite sides. (like the black one below)

Also, I think that "GFR" used to mean it had the big cutout at the back. Now it means that it comes with gyro tabs

again, early rednecks had u.s. 1/4" allen head bolts in chrome, before later changing to much longer metric 6mm in bare metal.

I had a rummage for Gyro Tab rednecks last night. I have got an early, square edge, flat backed redneck that I put “gyro tabs” on myself. Then what might be the first gyro tab redneck. Then a later, rounded edge one. And finally a Redneck LT with tabs. Im guessing this is the last one they did cos the redneck XLT has an optional gyro plate.
