S&M Bennett build NEW PICS 30/12 nearly finished
« on: December 04, 2012, 07:47 PM »
Just purchased this as a winter project, love a bit of heavy metal, should be with me shortly

Has a quick play tonight

Dragonfly seat clamp
Oddy cobra seat
Fsa pig dh pro sealed headset
Oddy 41 thermal forks
S&m redneck stem

All parts tatty apart from the seat clamp and seat

Been playing with sprockets and bars today, knee savers look great but are so cut down its unreal, got some chrome slams coming soon to try, I just can't seem to make up my mind on the bits

So far

FSA the pig dh pro headset
Redneck stem
DNA set clamp
Odyssey cobra seat
Seventies hubs laced to seventies branded Alex rims
Jive grips and donuts
Wethepeople royal cranks
Primo tenderizers
Dc ad990
Dc lever

And sub 25lbs without tyres

All suggestions greatly appreciated

Almost there, swapped out all the shiny parts for black ones, black rod seatpost, black evo brake, black wheels ( which i think weigh more than the rest of the bike ) just need to spray the stem, it's so black and raw it looks almost evil

Spec
Kriss Bennett frame
Odyssey thermal forks
DK bars
Redneck stem
The pig dh pro headset
Wethepeople royal cranks
Primo tenderiser pedals
Xposure bash guard chain wheel
Jive grips and donuts
Sun ZX25 rim laced to sealed formula hub with a snafu tyre
Alex Supra J laced to a sealed prolite stealth hub with a odyssey path tyre and acs claws freewheel
DNA seat clamp
Odyssey cobra seat
Odyssey evo brake
Primo rod seatpost
Dc lever

Think J it's from the first run of em (although someone else can pipe if I'm wrong :) ). Second lot were made by Kastan (they have Kastan stamped on the inner drops), and did the third lot have 14mm rear drops?

Mine has nothing on the drops and they are 14mm , the serial is on the bb shell

Just got some WTP cranks for thiS in a nice rider condition

Saw them WTP - very nice, good alternative to the old Profiles :)

The Xposure sprocket and the DK bars J I reckon (bars matching forks/sprocket)  :daumenhoch:

You got a Primo hemorrhoid seat kicking round? - although the Cobra's good, think it's a tad mid-mid school if that makes any sense  :D

the one that's adorning the bars in the later picture, or the stem pad?

Yeah gotta get some spray for the forks so the stem can be done too, all I've done is sand all the paint off it do far
