Orbital palm sander to start then lots of elbow grease with wet or dry is the usual method  :daumenhoch:
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

I did some a few weeks back now....do you mean you just want to do the sides?  I did both of the rims completely.

Started by buying the ovenpride kit from the supermarket (the one that includes the bag).  Put the in the bag with the solution and waited for around 15mins....this will strip the anno.  The finish then was pretty damn good so I didnt bother with any sanding.  Just got an alloy polishing kit of ebay for around £10 and set about them using both compounds.

It took a few hours in total but the finish was great.  I didnt want them to be mirror finish....Just a more subtle polished look.

I then did a stem with a bit more effort to get a better finish:

This is the kit that I bought....Should pretty much last you forever to be fair, unless youre planning on polishing everything in sight  :LolLolLolLol:

i normally put the wheel in an old pair of forks i keep and then in my vice.
dremmel out or the drill with a sanding wheel on and away you go.
loads easier to do the wheels this way than trying to hold em.
