I don't mean yours Phil, which are both nice bikes, but i must be getting acclimatised as i can't help thinking some of the old bikes look like clowns bikes in my old age.   :buck2:

Phil, I think you have found your niche. That GT looks the botox. Am I seeing things, is that a 14mm front axle, or just the angle, or them bolt on converters ?

The frame is a 2004 GT Performer. Its a nice frame, good welds, and you need no cableties clips, or london mods, and stamped gt all over the place.

the tyres are from halfords, good rubber for messin about on, but not very high psi rating, not that you could go mad with psi ratings on skyways anyhoo.

i think the problem with the new school stuff is that there is no idenity. they all look the same. black is the most popular colour as a colour scheme . i think the new generation of designers are all gothic or something.
another point is most kids these days do not seem bothered about making their bikes stick out from the rest like we used to do bitd. most seem to be happy riding around on wrecks or stolen bikes. the more bashed up the better seems to be the thing down here in canterbury.
its a shame because most kids these days do not seem to be bothered in looking after the belongings.
back to the main point it does seem possible to make a new school bike look the dogs with some attention to detail and just the right mix of colour and of course chrome.  :daumenhoch:
