A week or so a go I was looking on the bay for back issues of mags to fill my collection. The one mag I needed to complete the run of BMX Action Bike came up in a job lot of 10, so I bid and won the auction (link below) Just received them today and to say i'm well pi$$ed off is an understatement

In the auction he says
"Ten ! yes ten Old school vintage 1980,s bmx magazines all ery 1980,s very collectible some have pages loose missing but most are complete a blast from the past ? No reserve grap a bargain !" Now, when he said their are some loose/missing pages, I thought that the centre pages might be taken out (like you did BITD) to stick on your wall, but, their were a total of 122 pages missing out of 10 mags.

I'm just about to send him a message, and see what bo$$ox he comes back with.

That is shite Lee!from the description you would expect the centrefold posters were missing!poor form,might as well get your money back!how many pages are missing out of the issue you need?

Their were 4 pages missing from the one I wanted, plus 1 page had a great chunk cut out, which he did'nt mention.

Just got a reply from the seller. He says that he did describe the auction correctly and I should have asked the question, how many pages were missing.

If you send them back make sure you send them recorded as he could be a knob and say he hasn't received them

If that happens you'll be out of your refund and with no magazines either

I'am spitting fire writing this!!! After 14 days of an open despute with this seller, I had to contact Ebay to make a decision about the misleading/badly described auction. After being on the phone for half an hour, Ebay made a decision and awarded it to the Fu$£in seller!!!!!!!! They said that he put the words " some have missing loose pages" so that covered him

even though their were approx 75 pages missing!!!!! The only thing I could do is to slate him with negative feedback. What a WANK&R!!!!

surely "most are complete" implies that more than 5 out of 10 would have to have NO pages missing?
