they dont look like PA cranks, the arms look ovalised and also the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen cranks did have ovalised tubes they were peiced at both ends and only the 1st gen cranks were pierced at one end, hence the name. 1st gen PA cranks had almost round tubes

going by those pics they deffo not mk1 p.a's as the axle is a 48 spline one and i think the forks are the normal khe ones not standard forks

the pics olly sent me from his pooty iphone were quite small and made them look like mk1 p.a's

have a look here http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=121273.0 at the last red khe beater and the forks are exactly the same

I know KHE had some second gen cranks out similar to that (after the one's with the single pinch bolt), also Mutation had some that were similar - will try and find some pics.

Have you got a front-on pic of the forks? Be def able to tell if they're Standard or KHE then, like I told Olly  :daumenhoch:

Nice for £20  :daumenhoch:

Looking at them forks, I'd say they are Standards - the shape of the legs going into the steerer is identical to Standards. Also I think the KHE forks peg bosses were on the ends of the fork legs, not piercing the legs. The only thing that would put me off would be that they've got a cable guide, but as Standard did customs etc you never know....

Yeah, as did Static - the dropout design was quite well copied mid 90's. I *think* though their peg bosses were all at the ends of the fork legs. The KHE's I've had (and the similar early Gussets) all had leg-end peg bosses. I'll have a look through some of me Invert/Rides tomoz as I'm 'working from home' and get bored quickly ;)

When stripping down the headset was a tioga bear trap ,im guessing that wasnt standard fit to the bike?
So maybe the forks are not standard as in khe standard if you know what mean. :LolLolLolLol:

i reckon they are khe forks, in the link i posted earlier in the thread the first 2 bikes have the fork with the peg bosses right on the end of the fork leg like danny describes

the 3rd (red) bike's forks have the peg bosses slightly up from the bottom of the forks just like matt's ones, maybe they are a early design before they moved the peg bosses down slightly just as s&m did with the ditchfork :daumenhoch:

Khe forks where thred less 1" clamp on, plus had ad mounts they prob wouldn't of come with a brake plate either there defo not khe, and if there not standard then there copies as there dam close to me the drop outs are identical :daumenhoch:
