When were Renthals introduced to BMX??

Hey my lovely peeps 

Am I right in understanding that Renthal bars were first introduced in late '83 early '84 on the British Mongoose Cali's? Or was it the British Supergoose?

i would imagine right at the very start someone stuck mx renthal bars on a monoshock !!

you mean technically ? best e-mail renthal and try and find an employee thats been there since 1975 !

because  i liked the look of them
