Just had a very interesting chat with Mark from RetrospectBmX about 'Yes' Products and wierdly he said that not just two days ago he spoke to a guy who used to buy and sell bmx parts back in the day from Yes.

This guy apparently has been collecting parts for a long time and he told Mark that about ten years ago he went to the main 'Yes' warehouse just on the off chance of getting some deadstock and to catch up with old friends. Sadly they told him that he'd missed out on everything by two weeks.

 Two weeks previous they had destroyed and skipped hundreds of kashimax seats, shimano pedals , bars, brakesets, etc etc..... even hacksawing alloy hubbed tuffs so they could all fit into the skips..

..it's enough to make a grown man weep :'( :'( :'( :'(

well guess what I've just bought,   on my way to old bloke buys a bmx and ends up in hospital syndrome   wohooooooooo

many thanks to mattbloke, top boy and very helpful,  already organise the shot blasting and powder coating, gonna do it all up original but ill rework tired bits and then maybe put spokes on it for actual riding
