More price advise
« on: November 15, 2012, 02:17 PM »
I'm thinking of having a clear out and want to know what a few bits would be worth. first up is my supergoose I've had for a while and really would love to build it but could do with some funds for another project  :(

Next a couple of frames a t1 barcode 05 i think and a standard sta don't know the year

Both need a tidy but no cracks or anything nasty. I also have ng dirtbike f&f, alloy 2hip pork f&f bars and stem, macneil ruben f&f and bars and a heavy tools screamer.Any help would be cool as i hate selling stuff and never know what to ask but time has come to clear it all out  :daumenhoch:

I'll give you £11.76  >:D
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

T1 Barcode looks to be a 2004/2005 (euro BB?), but looks like it's had it's seattube cut down (there should be more metal above the seattube/toptube junction). Around £30-40 for that.

STA *looks* to be a late 90's one (looking at the extra gusset plates on the top/down tube + grind protector on the rear drops)  Did it have AD990 lugs? You can tell for deffo from the serial on the BB :)

NG DB's frame only fetch around the £25 mark, 1 1/8" Pitchforks (dependent on condition) go for around the same.

Screamers go for anywhere around the £20-40 mark again dependant on condish.

2-Hip - you can still find 'em as NOS in places, but F&F prolly around the £80-100 again dependent on condition (although you're better off asking Munny about prices on them)

Have a look at the STA serial and will be able to tell you year and month it was made  :daumenhoch:

Joking aside

I'd send a PM to Bobbafett he's the best "goose" bloke I know give him the serial number and he'll probably know what the bloke who wielded it had for lunch the day it was put together !

Or Spen69 he knows his geese as well  :daumenhoch:
