An old friend of mine gave me some pics he took of me riding my Holmes at our local trails spot back in 96/97.

Not great pics and nothing spectacular, as i've never been much cop at tricks, apart from the odd flattie/table with a stinky one footer but i did love riding this bike  and so good to have these photo's and memories.

Bentley Woods, Calne  Flattened now though    remember going to some kind of comp/jam thing at Slades but not any Allotments.

The Slades Jams 

The allotments were in the woods behind the bowl - one set of trails on flat and one set down-hill - fookin' impossible to control your speed but fun

Think I might have popped up to Calne in 97/98ish

Danny, did you ride the shite concrete bowl type thing near the park in Calne?  Constructed by some local builders from what i recall, really bad trannies but better than nowt i guess.

Think I might have done fella - rougher than a sandpapered knackersack and no drainage? Teardrop shaped?

Memory's not what it was, and digging deep I think I only had the briefest of rides at the bowl due to drinking too much earlier in the day.....then again, Slades wasn't exactly great back then either - what was left of a snake-run, and the bowl with a lip that kicked you back into the bowl

hahahaha yep thats the place. Yeh Slades wasn't very good either but i think we had a good time regrdless  booze seemed to be a big part of the scene in those days. I have fuzzy memmories too  probably why i dont recall any Allotment trails.  Good time though!
