mid life crisis
« on: September 18, 2012, 07:33 AM »
Hi guys,

I have just joined the board, I am in my early 40's and like many did the BMX thing as a kid.
I have however recently become addicted once more.

My 8 year old daughter wanted a BMX and I found one in some bushes, painted white with emulsion (chain too) after buying a new rear tyre and tube and lots of oiling it was good to go.

She was enjoying it so much I decided to buy her a better one and before long I had a Falcon Razor mid 90's I think, anyone know for sure?
It has a chrome frame and needed tyres so I bought red tyres and I have also bought yellow mushroom grips, my daughter prefers the other bike and I find myself loving the new one, did I build it for her or me im not quite sure ?

It's true, I'm back in at 42 and now have the bike i always wanted as a kid, a haro gen 1, and still scouring  eBay, an affliction it is, red pill for me too, great fun though, just put a coaster on my haro, getting the brakes to work a bit, and I'm off

I was looking at a complete bike for sale, I have been using one around a track so I am unsure now if they would be up to the task, what do you think?
