Quick Tuf Neck restoration

Had the bottom for a while and finally came across a top cap this week  :)

But they where 2 different colours  :crazy2: and both had bits of damage  :buck2: So out with the over pride and some different grades of sandpaper and after and hour or so I'm left with a stem I can now use  8)

i got an old one here but the shaft wont tighten properly,it needs a restro foresure.

Did the same myself with all the bits on my Robbo and had a comment saying it all looks good ,,,,now  you just need to give it all a good polishing up   :crazy2:

I have done this then I clear laquered it and looked good
keeps its colour better, clean it in spirit first tho..!

Not a bad idea that.  Close to the original clear anodised finish as well.
