170mm Shimano 600 cranks..... any good?

They look the part but what do i know  :-\
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Very tidy on early builds  :daumenhoch:

Most kids couldnt afford Campy's and used 600's  :4_17_5:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

The good thing with these cranks is the hardware, if it's the real thing. Shimano quick release crank bolts. You do them up and the retaining cap stops them un-doing but, allen key off using the retaining caps to push the arm off the crank. As easy as that. Great design back in the 70's  :daumenhoch:

Sweet  :daumenhoch:
Love the contrast between the polished outers and the grainy inners  :smitten:

Both the cranks were originally anno'd red, albeit in a very used, worn anno. Stripped with Oven Pride and lightly polished to the finish you see. The inners have this very fine bobbling effect, original finish, and they were just polished with some cream and a cloth. I was going to get them re-anno'd but decided they look they better like they are.

You will really like them bro. They are light, easy to clean and fit and, ride bang on  :daumenhoch:
