Who needs a time machine eh? It's all right there.... Bad hair, terrible clothes, health & safety nightmares, fantastic street modified bikes and the time of your life!

Awesome pics - just wish I had a few more than I do from our back garden ramp my dad built us after I fractured my skull the first time on a quarter-pipe that looked like the one in these pictures.... Bits of plywood, old scraps pf timber..... Yep, if we lived under today's h&s rules we'd never have grown up appreciating how much fun a bit of danger is.

Brilliant - thanks for posting these up.
Still limping......

Great pictures! I used to have a grey & burgundy top like in one of the pictures but mine was a cheapo fake off Northwich market  :)
I bought a propper blue & grey one a few years ago off ebay. I've got it next to my adidas colorados  :smitten:

He is never in when i go round typical eh

love those pix.

Sums up the 80s and BMXs so much for me.

Junkyard ramps  :LolLolLolLol:

We built a quarter pipe in a yard of an industrial unit of our local industrial estate. It was mini ramp but instead of marine ply it was huge sheets of heavy duty cardboard :D was like a resi ramp and was about 15 foot wide and the whole run up was floored with cardboard sheets.
So wish i had some pix from BITD, I only have one of me on my Californian jumping out of a mud bowl but i cant find it  :-[

That yellow and pink GT has given me a hankering for some Fruit Salads  ;)

Ahhh the good old days jim  that was some ramp  ;D had many hours of fun there . i wish there was some pix from back then i only have one pic which has my bike in it . and only know of one pic taken with me doing a bar press on a burner with motomags on . fozzy took the pic but doesnt know where it is  :'(.

thanks for posting the pix phil your lucky to have them  :daumenhoch:
