cheap head set

Been looking for a nice shiny head set for my DB build and working on a tight budget iv,e been looking at the cheap ones off the bay. There,s some as cheap as £5 +post or Tange ones at £15 ish from the US. Who's had what and what would you recommend chaps

My 79 Team Goose has a 79 Tange headset, all the rest have Beartrap II's buddy. Great headsets. Around £20 - £25 though so maybe a bit over the budget. Being bearings though, I wouldn't skimp if they are to be ridden on, same as BB's

both of those will do the job, but i wouldn't use either for a rider given the choice.

for a rider it would have to be Beartrap II for both, they just work and don't come loose all the time.
