Are These Haro/Fusion Kneesavers?
« on: July 10, 2006, 05:36 PM »
I'm sure a couple of folks on here will be watching these bars, I'm just not sure if they're the real deal:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190006319995&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D190006319995%26fvi%3D1
They look the right shape, and the welds look OK, but the seller's not sure of their make, either. No chevrons on the endcaps, but he thinks there's something stamped on the grip end (being at work just now, he can't check it).
I had some kneesavers from the early/mid 90s that had Fusion stickers on them, but I think they did have chevrons. Mine weren't the dodgy batch of extremely weak copies, for sure. Anyone else remember the article in Ride about reducing the rake on these by stamping on them?

Hmmm, the cross brace and welding are identical to mine (see pic below). But, mine have chevrons on the end caps and the caps are curved...it doesn't look like they are...so, not sure...but for 99p, they might be worth the risk!
