zima finally done
« on: October 06, 2012, 02:05 PM »
finally got to finish my zima this morning

spec as follows

zima frame & fork, original owner was a southsea local and the frame and fork have been in the area in a shed for the last 15 odd years before resurfacing in a local bmx shop last year

peregrine super pro wheels (thanks to olly (mdbh) for spying the rear hub on ebay and alex for supplying the front hub)
primo v monster tyres
standard ribco pegs x4
gt/profile cranks
gt dx pedals
gt power series chainring
s&m slam bars
dk stem
odyssey gyro with fishbone 2 into 1 cables
odi longneck grips
tech77 levers
ad990 brake
10mm acs boa front brake
kmc z chain
gt padded dropnose seat

as you can see in the photos the chrome on the frame has suffered over years so ive built it as a survivor build and used well used parts to try and make it look like thats how its been for years

Looks cool

who'd win in a fight do you reckon between your Zima and My old/Webbies Cromo 2hip pork?

It'd be close, I'll have a pound each way on the pork though!

Nice bike ! Your forks are different to mine . Mine have a little Z engraved on the top of the leg near the crown race .
