Hutch Repop cranks
« on: October 05, 2012, 12:47 PM »
Has anyone had a set   ???

Whats the quality like and how long did you have to wait for em  ???
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

The new ones have a multi spline axle like Profiles, providing they have been made correctly they should be good cranks :daumenhoch:

The jurys out for me at the moment.....I ordered a set about 3 wks ago, got them in a week but sent them back as the chrome was flaking on the boss on one of the arms. No problem in replacing them said JDB, but I now gotta wait a week or two until the next batch arrive from the chromers. The flaking was obvious, so quality control is not good.....but apart from that i was impressed  ;D

Just hoping two weeks doesn't turn into 2 months.  ::)

They look okay from the pic, I remember years ago Kappa were making these cranks, the same with the 48 spindle, but think they were half the price of these  :)

You can put a price of $180 for the Ti spindle and Ti bolt kit cos thats what a profile one would cost out there, so at $300 for just the arms.... they are a fookin bargain :2funny:

Whats the matter Kid, don't ya like clowns? Don't we make you laugh? Aint we fukkin funny?
