Come on lads, keep up. Dom's posted up loads on this as he was the PM on the job and he even posted up the website for us to watch when it went live to try and order one :daumenhoch:

Have a look in chat and you'll find this post:

http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=151802

I bottled out when I found out the price. My brother actually threatened me with GBH for pulling out of buying one as no doubt they will hit ebay and twice if not three times the value, but I don't have £700 plus import taxes to spnuk up the wall at the moment and i've just sold a load of my bikes to pay for stuff so could have easily argued the case with the boss

My Knight RetroGoose cost half that and you can actually ride it FFS. What are you gonna do with one of these puppies - hang it on the wall no doubt? That's a criminal waste IMHO :-\

I think Haro have given one to all of the original team riders. I thought that was a very nice touch.
I read that Lee Reynolds and Craig Campbell both got one.  :daumenhoch:

Would rather get a carbon fibre frame that works for that price.  Rip off gits.  :yahoo_silent:

It is nice but my first thought is that if you turned up on one of these people would think its a 09 Freestyler at first glance?  ???

I know he has Spen. Just highlighting the fact it's due for release this week. If I can get one for £700, then I will definately have one and, ride it I will  :daumenhoch:  I would love to build it with NOS parts too  :smitten:

I would even consider selling my Torker for the parts to go it  :-\  Er..Okay. I wouldn't  :LolLolLolLol:

not a stupid question at all. and yes you can usually. 700 quid +. postage, then you have import duty plus vat(btw) on the lot at 20%
if you're not into haro then it will never make sense, but then its not meant for you so i wouldnt worry about it.
a lot of money for a repop, but a collectors item for the haro lover.
its where this hobby is at right now.

As J.T says Dan, it's all about Haro and being a big fan of Haro and what it done for BMX in general. You can probably pick up a frameset for the same price yes.

Look at this way though. This is alledgedly made to the same specification as the old ones. It has never been ridden, it's not weathered and not fatigued. It's mint, in the box and never had a part fitted to it.

For me, if it is built to the exact spec, I would want one of these. The chances of picking up a low serial'd genuine one is like Devilock actually putting one of his bikes in BOTM  ::) , not going to happen. So to me, this a better option.

 ;)
