My 24" TA XL has cleared customs
« on: September 26, 2012, 05:20 PM »
Woohoo, just checked my UPS tracking number and my frame/forks/bars are in the UK and have cleared customs at lunchtime.

Should be any day now. Or hopefully its already at home waiting for me.  :laugh:

Heres a chap in Oz who has got his. I don't think its Snapper though, so it should be safe from fire.

Heres a built one somewhere on Lake Michigan lakefront, which narrows the location down to about 3000 miles.

Not sure how they came to it but;
No Customs duty
No Excise duty
Only £41.42 for VAT.
(Plus their 'clearance fee of £8)
So less than £50  :daumenhoch:

I know. I was expecting around 150, that's what I'd budgeted for, not that there was a budget really.  ::)
