Handle Bar Rake

Ive always set my bars dead verticle, new schoolers seem to have them more back, but I had a mate who used to have them really forward. Some pics on here show them forward too and always wondered is this a stance thing?  :daumenhoch:

In line with the forks (more or less) tends to be what people run now. Nice control, and also feels OK when you spin the Bars.
Generally speaking, modern frames top-tubes are 2 or 3 inches longer than oldframes.
You wouldn't fit on an old bike unless the bars were way forward!
