Cleaning white ame's
« on: September 21, 2012, 03:53 PM »
Just got a pair of NOS white GT ame grips in the post, a bit grubby, so I thought i'd give them a scrub and a bleach.

Just knocked off work, so was washing my hands before doing anything, I use swarfega orange smelling stuff with grit in, whilst rubbing, I had a `Lentini' type idea and picked the grips up, gave them a gentlemans relaxation type rub, rinsed them off and `hey presto' sparkly white grips.

I know by the time i've fit them they'll need doing again, but thats the beauty of white grips isn't it?

Another top tip fella's!!
