Early 90's SE Racing WAL Proto
« on: September 21, 2012, 06:35 AM »
Thought you guys might enjoy checking out this early 90's, possibly late 80's SE PK Ripper with beefy WAL type Landing Gear forks and Hoffman Proto bars. There hasn't been another to pop up like it.

So the story from the original owner that worked/rode for SE said that only 5 sets of those forks were made. SE was making WAL stuff and getting Hoffman's stuff ready also. After e-mailing Ron this is what he said, which is pretty interesting:

Hey JOE,
Rad, man, SINCE we DUMPED those bars to you, we've had MILLIONS and MILLIONS of calls looking for them---crazy!  Soooo those fotoz you sent are the San Diego SE factory parts that they made, kind of COPYING the WAL parts that they were making for us!!!  NOT 2hip or WAL parts at all!
Peaceout,
ronw

Ron has a very unique way of typing, very similar to how he talks. Pretty cool.

Well they may not be Hoffman, but they aren't Bully either. The ends on the clamping area are signature SE, just like on the WAL bars.
