had to show this
« on: September 19, 2012, 12:39 PM »
guess I'm crap at keeping secrets.. decal arrived this morning (loose test fitting only) . need to have the front headstock powdered to match the red..

the decals were colour and size matched to the authentic stickers used on the bikes originally..

thoughts please...

Looks cool as fook!  but watch it with those decals, if you get them just slightly wrong the lines won't meet up and will look gash!

Hiya, Yeah! I saw Meticulous's build a few months ago and it gave me pure flashbacks of when I was about 12 or 13. I had this crappy old home assembled white BMX that I rattle can'd the red stripes onto to get 'the look'...

Here are the original authentic stickers used on the actual movie bikes. Luckily they also add the dimensions, so a site famous Decal guy was able to reproduced to scale.

Not sure where the wavy sticker goes yet, not seen a clear enough image of the white/red bike...

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.
