Brake problems....
« on: September 18, 2012, 04:41 PM »
Right has anybody had problems with the odyssey evolver 2 my friends just bought 1 for the rear and it's binding Badley where they cross over, I've had this in the past with a couple of diff brakes and I just grinded down a bit of the arm to clear but he doesn't want to do that, is there any way around this?

What frame is it on? And pictures  :daumenhoch:

Can you not put a washer on one of the mounts to push the calipers arm up slightly?  ???

we tryed 3 diff brakes tektro, fly, odyssey, the only 1 that worked was my proper brake and the odyssey worked perfect on mine so I bought his off him and have him mine everyone's a winner!:)

yes was running that brake and we tried so many diff combos with different springs/top cap for some reason the top cap on the. Other brakes was clamping the lug and the brake but the proper brake was just clamping the lug like its suppose, very strange!
