Haro Zippo Build
« on: September 23, 2012, 01:49 PM »
Just finished building this Haro Zippo with a friend.

I found it on ebay for a friend as he wanted the Straight Shooter forks for his 2009 Freestyler, but when it came he decided he liked it and wanted to build it as a rider.

He stripped all the paint off, I cut a coaster bracket out of a bit of metal and welded it on, I also modified the rear dropouts, as they are the ones that say "Industrial Strength" on them and they were far to big.

We used the bars that came on his 2009 Freestyler, recently bought the brake calipers on here for a good price, and the tuff's with a coaster came from someone on here aswell, as did the AME grips.

I had the frame and forks powdered in gloss black, and I sanded and polished the stem, and seat post.

We built it up today, looks the nuts in my opinion.

Think he likes the seat because it wont cut him in half, not that it can be used at that height anyway
