does anyone in there 40s  still go to the rampworks in liverpool.  wouldnt mind giving it a go one day

Im sure they do but as far as organised ones on here there hasn't been one .

Most of the lads based around the North West goto these , regular nights at Ramp City in Blackpool http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=150531.0;topicseen

Give it a go , £10  9 til 12  ;)

Ramp City has been at least once a month lately , just keep your eyes on the 'members events' section .

When you get to have a look , take some pics . If i can't help .... the biggest mongoose collector in Europe is just down the road from you in Huyton , he'll be able to id/value it  ;)

Depends were you take it , but upwards of £150 for the F/F for a decent job and around £35/45 approx for a set of bars  ;)

If the frame has been in his loft for 20 years , theres probably a good chance it can be brought back to life using a few methods . You will be amazed at what can be achieved . Heres a recent example ......http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=149302.0 ;)
