race inc dilema
« on: August 29, 2012, 07:50 PM »
Bit of a dilema here guys...i have 3 pairs of totaly nos still in sealed bags race inc forks...two leading axle one red one black...i also have a black pair of straight ones.
I have 2 race inc frames....a RA7 and a RM2 both are black but need refinishing....the straight leg forks are correct for the  RM2 as sold inthe kit they did with bars and post wich i also have so no problem there.
The problem is with the RA7 ...do i keep it black and have  2 black race incs or get it anno'd red and have different colours...bear in mind it need refinishing anyway.
Oh and before anyone asks the 3rd set are not for ssle as i'm after a RA10 aswell to complete the line up .
Your opinion will be much appreciated.

problem you will have is the colour on the forks if original will never be the same as the frame if painted as you will never get original paint colour to match new style paint`s , i had this with my raceinc ra 10 ie found nos red forks and in the end had to paint the forks because i knew there would be a slight colour difference .

Know someone who wanted a set of leading axel ones if there for sale  ???
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)
