Ok so this bike was purchased just for the red tuffs it had at the time, I then suggested this bike was built and raffled for charity at work. So I started buying up the parts but then it was suggested that a Burner would be a better prize as its a bike many can relate to. So after a short search a very nice tuff burner was found on ebay and used as a raffle prize. It mate £1254 for Alziemers. So I had a Torker frame unkown forks and a pile of crap bits lol. I was going to sell the frame but a mate reckoned it was rare so I thought I might build it. I decided on the yellow theme to match the decals, once id found the wheels I decided it was defo to go yellow. One thing that made me build to add to my small collection was I dont have a twin tube in my collection ( I was going to say freestyle frame but id get hammered lol) so I tried to build with good used parts but it wasnt easy.

The parts are as follows

Torker 280x frame original chrome

Restored alloy hubbed tuffs ( not new with stick on hubs)

Good used GT bars

Good used ACS stem

Good used GT seat post

Good used Sugino OPC

restored tuff neck power disc ( stripped of ANO and sanded)

Good Used MX1000's

Good used tech 3 levers

Good used Am'e grips

Good used ching shin white walls

Good used unkown forks

NOS ACS seat clamp

NOS Victor DX's

NOS bear trap headset to go on

NOS mx seat Aero style

NOS Sugino machined chainring

NOS Sharp BB boot

NOS Torker padset made to my design by the padset GOD who cant be named ( but you will know who he is

)

Unbranded outer cables with DC inners and end sleeve things ( I saved these from the bin as the outers were goosed) I rubbed the nipples lol and the end sleeve things with peek to clean them up

With his buddies lol

glad you decided to build it .. the white walls are a little much and i hate the gt sticker on there but pretty damn cool!

What's you're secret for getting those yellow tuff's looking so mint? I have a pair which have only a tad fading on them, don't wanna dye them as i've already fooked up a yellow set trying that method

Was looking into soda blasting them in the future. Get it in the next BOTM
