I've just started watching some various newschool flatland clips in addition to the ones above - incredible stuff.
I still like the variation of the oldschool tricks, there seems to be a lot of spinning and one-wheel balancing now, though I can certainly appreciate the skills required.
Do today's young riders still learn 360s and rockwalks like we did, or just go straight onto the difficult stuff?
I suppose the bar is set higher now for those starting out, so they adapt and learn quicker.
The headstand guy on the US-site front page would take some beating though. 100 years ago?
