I've got one of these that I got off Bigplinky that I'm going to restore, so need some info please, it's a Frame which needs Painting + Superforks with stem combo. It has no stamps so I'm guessing it's a ramproom made frame, it was 10mm dropouts but has been opened up to 14mm.

Amy info on colour decals etc would be much apprechiated

Will post pic's tonight once I'm home

Light blue is by far the best colour for a Taj in my opinion.

Dont know the exact colour but I remember they had a slight pearl effect to it.

Thats was i thinking that the pearl coloured Hoffmans were the Thai ones?

So what colour did these early ones come in ? it's green at the mo, so maybe thats the orinigal colour, but I don't really like the green $:-\$

green and brown were taiwan made.early U.S came in chrome,blue and black.

Pretty sure Blue was US made. My buddy had a chrome Taiwan version and it was a total heap. Lasted 2 weeks at most.

there's 2 shades of blue.the flat blue is U.S and the pearl blue is taiwan.

Taj frames had a 20.75" Top tube, the 75 degree head angle made them feel like 21"

Here's a picture of my Taj, it has the the HB stamp in the headtube gusset, pearl blue paint and 14mm drops which makes it a 97 Taiwanese model. Still an awesome bike though. I have built it similar to how Taj rode his 96 BITD.

I have some hoffman love bars somewhere , i was gonna do a rough build ....the forks are totally wrong 80s ones ....anyone have any forks?? or something suitable?
