Rite all you gt heads, basicly im taking more and more of a fancy to Gt's (chrome ones mainly, as with most bmx's) peformers seem pretty sweet, they nice to ride? And rough price guide as i got outbid on one from portsmouth on the bay last night. Anyone here nab it?

Ok a rough guide on Prices for a Performer as i would see it  :daumenhoch: (Prices based on decent condition)

84 Pre stamp £500+

84 stamped Us built (platform level with the middle of the top tube, 84 in the serial and 3 holes in the drop out) £350+

85 us built £250+

85 Taiwanese ( Platform level with the top of the top tube, 4 holes in Drop out) £200+

85 Jap built £200+

86 Jap £200+

87 all incarnations of the Performer £200+

They are amazing bikes to ride, and done well, they look cool also  :daumenhoch:

Wicked, cheers man thats really helped. Any recomendations on other GT's? Race or freestyle, no new school.

82-83-84 Gt Pro from £200 to £400 depending on age and condition, there is a belter in the for sale section.

 Take your time on the build is my only advice, source correct era parts and dont rush it, to many dogs dinners made out of decent bikes because of rushing to finish.

Thanks peeps, some good advice coming in, probabbly go f/f when i buy, mabey complete then rebuild. Vertigo's anyone? Saw one in the sale section not to long ago.

That bad boy is mine now  :) I'm building it up for the budget build off. I'm really looking forward to getting it done. I've always fancied a GT after seeing Eddie Fiola in magazines and on the telly.
