STARTED THE BLACK AERO PRO (RUSTY ONE) finished
« on: August 17, 2012, 10:10 PM »
Just got back from holiday yesterday gutted at being back home so thought i would start one of the builds i have been putting off for a while.

Thanks to jt for dibbing the copy headset for me and a big thanks to the guy on here who sent it to me cheers

Some of people on here will know i bought the very rusty aero pro on ebay i only wanted the frame seat guts and tange 300.

Here is the bike before.

Anyway had the bike powdercoated a few weeks ago collected all the parts up this morning ready for the build

This is how fair i got will finish the bike later today the frame looks spot on was thinking of starting to collect just frame and forks and have them on shelves in my office seems a shame to build on a frame when its perfect

Sweet  :coolsmiley: Looking forward to seeing this built. I know what you mean about collecting frame and fork sets and hanging them on walls though. I love the look of them when they are freshly painted.

Nice collection of bits by the way  :daumenhoch:

That is top notch! 8) great job (Would love a chrome AP and just for future reference I take it when something is that rusty a powder coat is the easiest option? I have seen some miracle chrome resto threads on here though...)

Awesome save - not normally a fan of bolt the NOS parts onto a build jobs, but that looks amazing :daumenhoch:

Would have loved that moody gold LP125.... had a couple of black ones once but that gold one is ace :daumenhoch:
