The small ones are landing gear lites i would think. Same design, just not as thick as LG's.

I think there were 6 different variations of the 20" fork,
1,the original unstamped,
2, standing gear,
3, lites,
4,the first stamped one that had the diagonal SE logo
5, the later ones with the regular straight logo
and
6, Landing gear Max

There probably are a couple of other variations and i didn't include the Fuji forks or the bigger wheel sizes.

At a guess i would say they either followed the same transition as the standard fork or were never stamped.

Sander the 1inch legs ( Lites ) are a 80s se product , just meant for racing and weight saving , not rare . Alans has some as well as rockchick

they look funny as landing gear are bigger than most but all other forks were 1 inch tubing ?

Just to throw into the mix. I have just taken delivery of a battered (not the Scottish version) SE Hauler.

The LG's on it are unusual and have a hole in the bottom of the bologna cut are also stamped "Lung 1" I think, so I was thinking they cannot be the original spec for the bike, but digging out an old test, I have evidence that maybe some of the Asian produced LG's are actually licensed SE items. Look at the bottom of the fork leg i this scan!!

Townshend, It's an old post I resurected - sorry the barking dutch fella ain't back ;)

Bob, I'll post some pics up when I get some, but one thing is for sure the forks on the Hauler were oem but Taiwan welded up with holes in the bologna cut - you can see in the pic above.

Maybe not as desireable as the us made ones, but SE nonetheless!!
